Rules & Guidelines

Thanks for checking out the site. Please take a moment to read through these guidelines for posting:

0. Only Register ONE TIME. Registrations may take up to 24 hrs to be approved. If it has been a couple of days and you have still not received confirmation, reply to the initial automated email you received and let us know your username.

1. DONT TYPE WITH YOUR CAPS LOCK ON. Nobody will want to read your post.

2. No spam. If you want to represent your business or company, do it in your Profile. If you are a Business or Organization and interested in becoming a sponsor or vendor, PM me.

3. If you disagree with someone, don't just flame them. Explain why you disagree and maybe offer your solution. Posting just to say "thumbs down" is not allowed.
The same goes for "thumbs up", also say why you agree with them to make your post worth while. We try to keep the forum clean of BS. BS belongs in the Junk Yard. Posting useless garbage in good useful threads will not be tolerated- you will be banned if you continue to do so.

4. The Junk Yard- This is for anything off topic. If you have something to post that may be offensive, you must put "WARNING" in the title. Some people (including me) view the forum at work. Please keep anything profane out of the other areas of the forum.

5. Pictures. If you want to post images on the site, you can use a host such as photobucket, clubphoto, imagestation, etc... Or if you took pictures while doing a How-to write up and would like to use them in your post, you can contact me and I will host them on the site for you.

6. Avatars & Signatures. Don't use ANY offensive material in these. Sigs should be no taller than 6 lines of text total. If you have an image, please make it no larger than 125 x 600 pixels. Please don't use these to advertise your business or company, unless you are a sponsor or vendor.
Avatars shouldn't be too large, 100x100 or smaller is preferred. If your avatar is larger, you will no longer have an avatar.

7. "I made a post and now it is gone!?!?" Unless it was extremely vulgar or spam, it is still here. Chances are it was moved to a more suitable location. To find your own posts, go to "Search" in the top menu. Type in your user name in the "Search for Author" box. Or check the recent topics, when somebody responds to your post, it will get bumped to the top of the list.

8. Please Post Topics in the right Section If it helps, familiarize yourself with the site first by reading some posts to see what kind of posts are in each section. The mods will normally move them to a more suitable section, but after a while they may get tired of moving your posts and ban you Don't PM me your questions, my inbox fills up like crazy because of this. Post your question and you'll get good advice from more than 1 person. Technical questions that I receive as PM's will be deleted.

9. Please be Descriptive In your topic titles, don't be vauge with a title like "Help!" or "Question". A descriptive title will get your thread more views, and will help others with a similar question. In your posts, give us details & background. This will help us answer your questions. Also please try to use good grammar so we know what you're talking about. Punctuation is nice too.

Overall we are easy going and don't plan on banning anyone. Anybody who is crossing the line will get a fair warning. If you have any questions or concerns, you can post them in the "Questions & Comments" section. Enjoy the site!
